Kevin took a team from Eagle Valley to the AWANA Games today (in my day it was known as AWANA Olympics and I'm having a hard time letting that go.) This is the first year of AWANA at Eagle Valley, so it is the first year these kids have experienced AWANA Games. They were so GREAT! They got 2nd place, behind one Bethel team, ahead of another Bethel team. Bethel is 'THE TEAM' to beat because they are so experienced and they have a huge AWANA program. We felt great about our showing today. Kevin had a great time with these kids and was very proud of them.
